Hi.
I'm Tim. We're a family studio making things we'd put our name on .
Today Creative has been family-run since 2014. Branding, content, and video, made by neighbors who pick up the phone. Some folks call us the Mister Rogers of marketing. We have decided to lean into it.
It started with a simple promise. It still runs on the same one.
I started Today Creative in 2014, in a corner of my house in Holly Springs, North Carolina. I had a couple of cameras, a hard drive that mostly worked, and a stubborn belief that the way most marketing agencies operated was broken.
Twelve years in, the office is bigger, the gear is better, and the family that runs this place has grown. But the promise hasn't changed.
I made that promise because I'd been on the receiving end of the other way of working, and I knew how it felt. Excited about the pitch. Disappointed by the delivery. Frustrated by month three.
Somewhere along the way, a client called us the Mister Rogers of marketing. It started as a joke. It stuck because it was right.
Warm, sincere, on your side. Especially when it's hard.
Today Creative is still family-run. Members of my family work alongside me, the way it's been from the beginning. We've grown deliberately.
If you've made it this far down the page, thanks for reading. I'd love to meet you.
Six things that don't change.
These aren't values on a wall in a conference room. They're the rules we actually run the studio by.
We pick up the phone
If you call during business hours, a human answers. If you text or email, you'll hear back the same day. Almost always within an hour. The studio runs small for a reason.
Same hands, every shoot
The person you meet on the first call is the person directing your shoot day. We don't bait-and-switch with a senior creative on the pitch and a junior crew on delivery. That's not a model. That's a trick.
We earn it every month
No locked-in contracts. No twelve-month minimums. If the work isn't worth what we're charging, you don't continue. We've built a studio where most clients stay for years because they want to, not because they signed something.
The number doesn't change
What you see at the start of a project is what you'll pay at the end. No surprise fees, no scope-creep invoices, no "that'll be extra." Every line is explainable. Every quote is itemized.
The work is ours together
Every photo, every film, every piece of writing we make for you is yours forever. No usage limits, no licensing surprises, no asset-rental schemes. If we made it for you, you own it.
We tell you the truth
If your idea won't work, we'll tell you. If you're spending money on something you shouldn't be, we'll tell you. If a project isn't going well, we'll tell you that too. The polite way and the honest way are the same way.
Two places, both in North Carolina.
We run two studios. The Holly Springs office is the home base, where the planning, edit suites, and most client meetings happen. The Sanford soundstage is where the bigger productions live. Both are within an hour of each other. Most of our work happens between them or somewhere out in the world that needed to be filmed.
The home base
The office, the edit suites, the meeting space. Where we plan, write, edit, and host client sessions. It's the room where most of the thinking gets done.
The soundstage
A real production studio. Cyclorama wall, lighting grid, multi-camera setups, room for an audience if you need one. It's the room where the bigger work gets shot.
A small team,
same faces.
Today Creative is intentionally small. A core crew that handles the work end-to-end, with trusted collaborators we have worked with for years when a project calls for it. The same names show up on credits across all our work.
A small portfolio of other things.
Today Creative is the main studio, but it isn't the only thing my family and I run. Each of these started with a real need we saw, and most still exist because that need hasn't gone away.
Real estate media, done right
Photography, video, and drone for real estate agents, builders, and developers across the Triangle. The same production quality as Today Creative, focused on a single industry.
